Accessing Your Council's Payble Site

Additional Information

Before you start: Always sign in with the same method you used the first time, because your account, plans and payment history are linked to it. Payble can't combine accounts or change your sign-in method. Mobile (SMS) sign-in works for every council. Email and WhatsApp are only available if your council has turned them on.

Pay your rates, water, animal registrations and other council fees in one place. You can settle a bill, set up a payment plan or check your balance. There are a few ways to reach your council's Payble site, and signing in takes seconds.

Ways to Access Your Payble Site

There are three ways to reach Payble:

  • Scan a QR code — found on notices from your council, such as rates, water, animal renewal and infringement notices.
  • Your council's website — look for a "Pay something" or similar payments page, where your council will link to Payble.
  • Google search — search for your council's name with the word "Payble" to go straight to your council's Payble page.

There's no password. Payble sends you a 6-digit verification code to confirm it's you.

How It Works

Step 1: Choose your sign-in method

Enter your mobile number or email address on the Payble sign-in page.

Step 2: Receive your code

A 6-digit verification code will arrive on your mobile or in your inbox within seconds.

Step 3: Enter the code

Type the 6-digit code into Payble to verify your identity.

Step 4: Access your account

You're in! You can now view your rates, manage payment plans and make payments.

Always Use the Same Sign-In Method

Important: Your account is linked to the sign-in method you chose when you first registered. For example, if you registered with your mobile number, always sign in with that same number. Your payment history, plans and account details are all tied to it.

Payble can't combine accounts or change your sign-in method. This protects your payment details and keeps your account secure. If you think you registered with the wrong method, contact your council for help.
